On 14 March, the transport and logistics world will meet in Breda for Multimodaal Transport Expo. This is the place where knowledge and contact come together seamlessly, with more than 70 exhibitors and five stages offering a full programme of content. From inland waterway navigation to air freight, all modes of transport will be represented at this dynamic event.

This year, our Topa Institute will be there as an exhibitor and will be providing demonstrations and expert advice on the theme: Optimisation of available volume during transportation.

At Topa, optimisation of packaging and logistics processes is central. Our in-house Topa Institute plays a crucial role in helping our customers improve the quality and security of their transport. We mimic transport situations and establish the transport conditions that the packaging will be exposed to.

The Topa test centre, which turns 40 this year, is equipped with the latest technology for packaging and transport simulation, meeting the strictest requirements. During transportation, vibrations, bumps, knocks, pressure, temperature fluctuations or changes in humidity can have a significant impact on the load. At our Topa Institute, we carry out mechanical tests in order to closely analyse these conditions. This allows us to identify potential risks and take appropriate measures, together with our customers.

Pallet stabilisation and packaging optimisation are among our key focus areas for minimisation of damage, to ensure your product arrives at its destination undamaged.

During this exhibition, our Technical Solution Manager, Maarten Kleverlaan, will lead an engaging workshop on the ‘Optimisation of available volume during transportation’, looking in detail at our Connex OVERWRAP (thermal insulation container) and ULD Optimiser (cardboard aeroplane plate).

From 5 February to 28 March, Topa invites you to take part in a unique experience at Log!Ville. The Experience Centre immerses companies in the logistics of the future through visualisation, customisation and digital storytelling. Visitors can register for the brand-new ‘Innovative Packaging Solutions: Reduce – Reuse – Rethink’ themed tour. Through the various stands, the innovation ambassadors will take you into a rapidly changing future, allowing you to discover innovative technologies in the field of sustainability, digitisation, automation and circularity.

Topa also has a stand with various products and developments. We will have our ZeroTape dispenser system, Fiber Film and Fiber Wrapper, ULD Optimiser (cardboard aeroplane plate) and Connex OVERWRAP (thermal insulation container). All innovations that we stand behind fully and that speak for themselves.

As at Multimodaal Transport Expo, our colleague Maarten Kleverlaan, will be key note speaker at the Log!Ville closing event and will give the same presentation on ‘Optimisation of available volume during transportation’.
